Students involved in the University Conduct Board are a group of student leaders who serve with the Appalachian community to cultivate an educational process by holding our peers accountable with fairness and equity thorough outreach, leadership, and engagement.

The position of serving on the University Conduct Board requires a commitment of time, energy, dedication, and impartiality. Board members play an integral role in educating their peers about their rights and responsibilities as members of the Appalachian community, upholding community behavioral standards, and implementing the Code of Student Conduct.

Join the University Conduct Board!

Student members of the University Conduct Board must meet and maintain the following minimum qualifications:

  • Be a full time student at the University
  • Be in good disciplinary standing with the University
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or above
  • Have completed one academic year or two full semesters of study at the University
