The Code of Student Conduct

North Carolina General Statute 116-40.11 provides students with the fundamental right to have an attorney present during portions of the disciplinary process at Appalachian State University. The Code of Student Conduct specifically outlines this role and provides information regarding our process. Information regarding the role of an attorney can be found in the Code of Student Conduct:
